Upper Ormeau Playground is a small playground in the rural suburb of Kingsholme that was recently upgraded by council. It’s great to see some investment in facilities in the rural suburbs, as often it’s just the new developments that see new playgrounds!
Set on a big grassy field by one of the smaller stretches of the Pimpama River, this is a nice little hideaway for kicking the ball, flying a kite or exploring the river banks. There are no toilet or picnic facilities, so pack a snack and let the kids play on the new playground.

Facilities: off street parking, picnic shelter, playground. No toilets or BBQs.
