Stewarts Park in Ormeau is colourful and bright, enticing children with coloured window panels, interactive boards, a climbing cube and huge swing set. Fully shade covered, the playground is spread over a large area with lots of room to run and play. Surrounded by green space for picnics or kicking a ball, there is also an outdoor gym to use.
Some of the favourite elements include the butterfly coloured windows, the spinner and the slides. Designed to cater for a range of ages, there are easy access stairs and slides for younger children, or more difficult spider web and climbing nets for older children. The Joey swing is always a welcome inclusion for those with infants too!
