Rotary Park at Mudgeeraba is only small, but it’s in the centre of everything so very popular for families! Located on the corner of School Street and Railway Street, next door you’ll find both the Wallaby Hotel and the Mudgeeraba Aquatic Centre, and nearby you’ll find the historic Town Centre.
Fitting with its historic location, the playground is designed to resemble a steam train! Carriages with wheels are all linked together, and you’ll find steering wheels and a steam engine chimney too! My 3yo loved all the bridges, tunnels and staircases linking everything together, as well as the pretend train tracks running through the middle.
The stairs make it toddler friendly, but there are also a few more challenging features for primary aged kids to join in on the fun too. It’s not often you see a set of monkey bars on a playground these days!
This playground is nice and shady, making it a great stop no matter what time of day. It’s great for dropping by for a quick play while you are in the area, or while you’re on your way to grab a bite to eat from any of the great cafes and restaurants around.
