Next door to the museum, you'll find Stanley’s Barn - where an award-winning chef prepares culinary treats for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very family friendly, the restaurant is set beside a huge lawn - be sure to request a table on the patio! The kids can run around on the grass and visit a few farm animals during your visit.

    Rosemallow Park at Upper Coomera is home to a fantastic, fully fenced playground next to a huge grassy field, perfect for kicking a ball around! The playground is quite sprawling, with plenty of climbing opportunities, imaginative play in the shop front, swings, musical instruments, a see saw and a slide.

    Ormeau Community Library, Ormeau

    The Ormeau Community Library is one of our favourite libraries on the Gold Coast to visit with children. Originally known as Book Box, this library was dedicated to our 0-5 year olds and jam packed with engaging opportunities for our little ones. After a few changes, it is now known as the Ormeau Community Library, which encompasses the old Book Box and also includes a range of books for children aged 5-12, teenagers and adults.
