We jumped on a Farm Tour during our visit, and it was definitely the highlight of our day. These book out well in advance, so if you’re planning on going – check the bookings for this first and be sure to secure your spot! The 40 minute tour starts by getting up close and personal with the alpaca and llamas. You will get the opportunity to feed and cuddle and take selfies with the goofiest characters. Next, head down to the pig pen where you’ll get to participate in the pig feeding routine with the chance to throw in some treats. You’ll meet the beloved Pigsey and her gal pals Ginger and Tiny and hang out as the farmers give them some love and attention. Following on this, you will help the farmers collect chicken eggs and bring them to the incubation area in the hatchery. Here you will learn all about how an egg becomes a chicken and the chance to see freshly hatched chicks. You’ll then have a cuddle with our newest additions.
Pack a picnic lunch, or grab some food onsite, and come and enjoy the spaces – there are plenty of picnic tables around the farm and shady spots under trees that you can enjoy. You can BYO Gazebo or shade structure, camp chairs or picnic blankets to set up for a day of fun in the sun. You can also join in their night sessions with an Evening Pass, where live music plays, campfires are burning and you can enjoy some great BBQ food.
