Celadon Park is located in Stage 3 of the Helensvale Surrounds estate and completes the playground facilities on offer across the estate. This has to be by far one of my favourite 0-5 year old playgrounds across the Coast, due to the endless opportunities for imaginative play! For those parents who despise spending the whole time at the swing set – this playground doesn’t feature any of your traditional play equipment pieces and will challenge your little one to play freely!
Featuring all-ability play equipment, you’ll find a spinner, orb climb, spinning see-saw and fairy-tale play structure to instigate imaginary play. The main reason for a visit to this park however, is not the play equipment!
The highlight of this park, is definitely the interactive bike track designed to help kids of all ages learn how to ride a bike. Incorporating traffic signs, a petrol station for refueling, a fire station for imaginative play and a small pump track component for the daredevils, do not forget to bring the bikes or scooters on this visit!
We really enjoyed our visit here, the play opportunities are endless and my little one had fun playing with his friend on the bike track, stopping in to the service station and role playing. The play equipment was enough to occupy them once they’d had enough of the bike track, and I enjoyed interacting with him on some different play pieces like the spinning see-saw that we haven’t seen in other parks.
