We went along to @jurassiccreatures_ a month or so ago when they were at Browns Plains, and when I asked the birthday boy what he wanted to do today if he could do anything - his answer was Jurassic Park!! Luckily, @jurassiccreatures_ are back for the school holidays and even closer to home now!! (located at Loganholme, right alongside the M1 beside the BP servo) Another fabulous outing was had today, with time spent in the ball pit, on the 2 jumping castles, digging in the excavation site, mining dino eggs, drawing, playing puttputt and of course, meeting all the life size dinosaurs!! These have to be my favourite of the year because there are so many FREE, low-cost, and fun activities on!! The Gold Coast really is the place to be this Easter! There are shopping centre crafts, Easter bunny visits, Easter egg hunts, special breakfasts, bubble play spaces and SO MUCH MORE! When was the last time you had family photos taken When was the last time you had family photos taken? I've made a promise to myself that every year in April/May, we will make the time to have a family photo shoot. It's both my boys' birthdays, and it's a perfect reminder that time passes too quickly. Now, when the eve of their birthday arrives, I stop and look back over the years and see how our family has changed. The personality that has been captured at that point of time: the baby rolls, those little toddler legs, the gappy smile. 🐰 Teacher Easter gifts 🐰 lots of DMs after I 🐰 Teacher Easter gifts 🐰 lots of DMs after I shared our Easter Baskets, looking for ideas for teacher gifts! Here are some cute and easy ideas that cost no more than $10-$15 per gift (the price of a Cadbury boxed egg these days!!). To me, it's the thought you put in that counts, so I like to make it look a little bit special. I've gone into more detail in my stories with links to everything I used. Hopefully it will inspire you! By no means is this required: if you don't have time or budget this year, it is totally ok to skip it! My kids usually give theirs to their teachers as they walk in the classroom, so that it's not done in front of the class and they are none the wiser as to who has or hasn't done it!
