Whether it’s monkey bars, upside down ropes or swinging ladders, there are some great challenges on offer across the Gold Coast. I’ve rounded up the best Gold Coast parks for ninja climbers to take on – which one will you conquer first?

    Celadon Park, The Surrounds Helensvale

    Celadon Park has to be by far one of my favourite 0-5 year old playgrounds across the Coast, due to the endless opportunities for imaginative play! The highlight of this park is definitely the bike track, incorporating traffic signs, a petrol station, fire station and small pump track. Don't forget the bikes or scooters on this visit!

    Bim’bimba Park, Pimpama

    Bim'bimba Park means Place of the Soldier Bird, and is located at the centre of Gainsborough Greens, Pimpama. This park truly is a destination in itself, and was awarded the 2020 Best Park and Playground Design for all of Queensland!

    This northern Gold Coast beach swimming spot is perfect for families. Shady trees, a great fishing spot, comfortable picnic area, shade sails on the sand and a safe swimming beach makes for the perfect day out.

    Pimpama Sports Hub, Pimpama

    The Pimpama Sports Hub is home to the northern Gold Coast's state-of-the-art aquatic centre with Olympic-standard 50m swimming pool, netball and tennis facilities and heaps of other recreational and sporting options. Built on a 14-hectare site, it has a large outdoor events space for things like Carols by Candlelight and outdoor movies, and also a community centre. The cherry on the top is the children's playground and walking trails, making this an inviting hub for families to visit any day of the week.

    The Junction GC at Burleigh Heads is a fantastic family friendly cafe, with gated play space and relaxing atmosphere. Grab a coffee to go, settle in for a morning tea get together with your mums group, or catch up on those work emails while the kids are occupied for a few minutes. Service is outstanding, delivered with a smile and zero hassle!
