Bill Thomson Park at Elanora is very much loved by locals, and with an upgrade in late 2022 it’s even more of a local hotspot!
With a medieval theme, you’ll find plenty of turrets and bridges connecting the playground together to create one large castle. But the play equipment is definitely not medieval, with plenty of brand new features! A huge flying fox runs along the lakeside of the playground, there are internal and external slides, a great swing set and plenty of imaginative play opportunities.
The playground is set in the middle of the parklands, which also includes a lake, basketball court, picnic shelter and public toilets. There is no fence so if you do have a runner be warned – however there is quite a bit of a distance between the park and the lake.
