Roma Park at Isle of Capri is a fun park for climbing! With two playgrounds – a new, modern one and an older one that was kept following an upgrade – there is a lot here for varying age groups. Roma Park is also home to a sports field, with an outdoor gym too.
The new playground features a large spiral slide, the highlight of the playground. Other fun features include the climbing cube, with rock wall, climbing nets and rope bridges. There is a small slide accessed by steps for younger children on this playground, however the rest of the equipment does require some confidence with climbing to be able to access.
Across the pathway under additional shade sails, you will find the original playground equipment at Roma Park. This is older in style, but features a few pieces that younger children will be able to use, including swings, a slide and seesaw.
With the large sports field here as well, definitely bring a picnic blanket and a ball to have a kick around during your visit. Public toilets are available for use at the One Arts building beside the playground.
